MASTERING FILTER COFFEE
In this workshop we cover the basics of extraction theory and apply that to brewing recipes. You will learn how to brew better, more balanced, more flavorful, coffee at home. We work on pouring techniques during the different stages of a brew. We practice with multiple brewers (V60, Aeropress, Origami, etc) and learn the difference they make. In this workshop you will learn:
  • The basics of extraction theory
  • The impact of variables (such as grind size, water, dose/yield, time, etc) on your cup taste
  • How to write and interprete a brewing recipe
  • To apply the right pouring technique during different brew stages
  • To use different brewers and understand their differences
This workshop is open to everyone - no prior knowledge required. Good to have done Intro to Coffee for added knowledge.
